As digital banking systems have caused people to shift away from using physical transactions, it became evident that people tend to spend more than they realize.

Budgetty expands and shrinks based on a personal budget like wallets. By allowing users to visualize their budget, Budgetty helps users to manage their finance in a more intuitive and efficient way.

I was a leader of the team and I worked as a product designer.

Background

With the rise of online banking and mobile payments, people are increasingly disconnected from the tangible experience of spending.

Unlike cash transactions, digital payments often lack the "pain of paying", the psychological discomfort that helps us stay mindful of our financial behavior.

Inspired from this disconnect, Budgetty began with a simple question:
"What if spending felt more real again?"
